Tropical Orchard Wedding - Byron Bay

March was a very special month for the team behind Eye of Horus as our co-founder Holly Spierings married her man Jay. In an event such as this, a whole raft of collaborators put their love into making it a magical day and night. Weddings are such a special event - they bring together best friends old and new, and the joining of two families who will forever be part of your extended circle, in a joyous moment.

Tropical fairy-tale wedding was set in an ancient avocado orchard in Ewinsgsdale, just outside of Byron Bay, a stunning location for Eye of Horus Co-Owner Holly & partner Jay’s laidback luxe Wedding. A celebration of love under a purpose built outdoor passionfruit covered pavilion, the couple celebrated with their families and friends, all while enjoying stunning scenery. The orchard was transformed into a tropical paradise with fairy lights, lanterns, rattan furniture and custom-built tables and bars along with a clear roof Marquee.

 

 

Holly was dressed in a Made with Love “Stevie” gown with tropical blooms of Waterlilies and ginger flowers made by Ivy & Eve flowers. Hair was created by Zoe at By the Loving Gypsies.

 

Makeup created by Phoebe Fever using Holly's favourite eye of Horus cosmetics products including Isis Sun Goddess Palette & Nubian Brown Goddess Pencil finished with the Goddess Mascara.

 

 

Guests enjoyed a feast with the professionalism of Harvest onsite catering and beer supplied by Byron Bay’s Stone & Wood Brewery, the relaxed elegance of the wedding came together seamlessly!
