Lip Liners have landed

We’ve been doing our happy dance here at Eye of Horus HQ because our new Artistry Lip Liners have finally landed! Not only do these beauties match, blend and enhance our Bio lipstick range by offering intense pigmentation and a smooth creamy formula but can act as an individual lip colour themselves when applied all over the lips. To make life easier we have included an inbuilt sharpener so you’re never caught out when on the go.

New to using lip liners? Here’s a few reasons why lip liners create the perfect pout:

Adds Definition for bigger fuller lips
The precise artistry tip liner provides you with extra control for shaping and perfect definition. An overlining technique can be used subtly on thin or uneven lips to add more fullness and shape with one easy application.
Hot Tip: Using a liner which is just one shade darker than your lipstick creates a 3D effect, making the lips appear more plump.
 
Increases staying power of your lip colour
This smooth creamy formula has incredible staying power that will last all day long. Think of these as your lip primer increasing the staying power of your lipstick. By applying the lip liner this gives something for lipstick colour to adhere to boosting the it’s colour, wearability and preventing bleeding and feathering.
 
Use it without any addition of a lipstick
The intense pigmentation of these babies can double as a lipstick in itself. Add a little gloss or balm over the top to finish it off for that extra shine. Not into wearing a lot of colour? Pick a nude colour that is close to your natural lip colour to shape and define lips. You can brush out the edges for a natural defined look.

Here are a few little tips on how to best apply your lip liner:

 Apply with short, light handed strokes by holding your liner at a 45 degree angle. By having your lips slightly parted gets you the closest to your natural shape.

Use contrasting shades for fuller lips. Use a slightly darker lip liner to define the bow and the middle of the bottom lip.

Using a nude in a soft line on the border of your lips also creates a plump illusion for kissable lips.
