Easy Day to Night Makeup

There’s only one thing for sure about each new day, and that is it will turn into night. When the shining sun is setting, and the illuminating Moon is rising, it’s time to adapt our day look to the cool and alluring feel of the night.
We have created a tutorial on the art of ‘day to night’ makeup, so you can discover ways to easily transform and adapt your look for those evenings out after work, or catching up with your girls on the weekend, or simply just because why not?

The easiest way to take your look from day to night is by smoking out the eyes with a dark eyeshadow such as charcoal or brown. A swipe of shadow and a quick blend is the quickest trick to transform your look in seconds! Finish off the eyes by defining the upper lash-line with a dark eyeliner to give the appearance of thicker lashes and defined eyes.

Using an illuminating shade from an eye shadow or complexion palette, up the amount of glow of the skin by highlighting areas light naturally hits such as cheekbones, nose, forehead, and chin. The Moons light will reflect onto your skin for a beautiful dreamy look.

Finish off your evening look with a rich deep shade of lipstick. Now is the time to have some fun with colours you may not be brave enough to wear during the day… think bright red or deep mulberry. Feel free to use a matching lip liner to enhance the colour and allow for longer-lasting power.
